Learning Enhances Our Lived Experience

Stems From:
Ways of Thinking
Note:

Learning is not just "good" or "noble" or "useful", it literally shapes our lived experience.

Broad learning of new concepts and depth of granularity of existing concepts provides the raw materials needed to paint a rich tapestry from our experience. As Charlie Munger taught us, we begin Building Perspective by Accumulating a Latticework of Theories and Mental Models

It's very clear that Learning New Concepts Can Shape Our Perception, and since The Brain is Predictive Rather Than Reactive we use the concepts available to us to define our experience. With enhanced concepts comes better explanations of our surroundings and better control of our Affective Niche which is largely focused on the things we can't explain.
