Fundraising with intention

A wise founder understands what capital they need to raise and when, all the way through to their planned exit.

Founders always have a grand vision for what they want to achieve, but beyond their vision they can rarely articulate what each step towards success should look like other than "build it, sell it, scale." Even more rare is a founder who understand what their exit will look like, what capital they need on the path to that exit, and what they need to achieve to warrant the investments.

Having a clear plan for each fundraising round actually answers a lot of strategic questions that founders struggle with like pricing. This is something I have used the Equity Games tool to help with.
